Andromeda Chimney and Home is based in Lower Westwood, near Bradford-on-Avon — a central location that puts us within easy reach of a wide area across Wiltshire, Somerset and the Bath and Bristol region. Phil regularly works across roughly 40 kilometres of that base, covering everything from the city centre streets of Bath and Bristol to the stone-built villages of the Cotswold fringe and the farming communities of the Wiltshire plain.
The area is one of the most interesting in England for this kind of work. Period properties are everywhere — Georgian townhouses in Bath and Bradford-on-Avon, Cotswold stone farmhouses, Victorian slate-roofed terraces in Trowbridge, flint cottages further east. These are homes that need someone who understands traditional construction and uses the right materials and methods. That’s what Phil brings to every job.
We also cover many surrounding villages, hamlets and communities across both counties. If your address isn’t on the list above, it’s well worth calling — it’s likely we come to your area regularly.
Not Just Town Centres
A significant part of Phil’s work happens in rural locations — isolated farmhouses, hamlets down unmarked lanes, properties that are difficult to access and where finding a reliable tradesman willing to travel is a challenge in itself. Phil is used to this. He grew up in this part of the world and knows the area well. Distance within the coverage zone isn’t a problem, and he won’t penalise you for not being in a town centre.
Services Available Across the Region
All of our services are available across the full coverage area: chimney sweeping, fireplace installation, stove installation, stone masonry, home improvements and bespoke projects. If your job involves chimney, fire, stone or quality home improvement work, Phil is the person to call.
