Trowbridge is Wiltshire’s county town, and while it’s grown considerably in recent decades, it still has a substantial stock of older housing — Victorian and Edwardian terraces, converted mill buildings, older stone cottages and townhouses. Many of these homes have original chimneys in varying states of maintenance, and finding a reliable specialist for chimney and fireplace work is something Trowbridge homeowners know can take time.
